At Serene Planet, we care about ideas – not just action. Change happens when people are willing to slow down, ask better questions, and build frameworks that outlast them.
That’s where our Policy Circle comes in.
This isn’t theory for theory’s sake – your insights will guide real actions on the ground. We value curiosity over credentials.
At Serene Planet, we care about ideas – not just action. Change happens when people are willing to slow down, ask better questions, and build frameworks that outlast them.
That’s where our Policy Circle comes in.
This isn’t a club of experts or an elite research board. It’s a space where students, researchers, practitioners, and thoughtful individuals can contribute to the kind of thinking that shapes real, implementable change. We work on areas like education, climate resilience, urban planning, youth rights, and social inclusion, grounded in the context of Bangladesh.
We don’t expect you to be a policy wizard. What we look for is clarity, curiosity, and a sense of accountability. You might:
Review or co-author policy briefs
Help us prepare for discussions with institutions or local governments
Join closed-door strategy sessions with our core team
Represent our views at youth forums, consultations, or stakeholder roundtables
There’s no template to fill. If you care about shifting systems ,even at a small scale , you’ll feel at home here.
We’ve had graduate students, law interns, freelance researchers, and passionate undergrads join us. Some contribute a couple of hours each month. Others stick around longer. It’s flexible but it’s not for show.
We take your input seriously. In fact, many of our programs, including the ones in Chattogram Hill Tracts and Cox’s Bazar, were shaped by ideas first discussed inside this circle.
You won’t be drowning in jargon or stuck in endless debates. This is real work: helping a youth-led team take smarter, more informed actions. It’s not about perfection — it’s about showing up with a clear head and an open mind.
